- 1¾ tbsp (25 ml) olive oil
- 2¾ tsp (2 g) dried oregano
- ½ tsp (3 g) salt

Let’s cook
Heat 1¾ tbsp (25 ml) olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Finely chop 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, 2 carrots and 1 celery stalk and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add 1.06 lb (480 g) ground beef and fry over medium-high heat for 8 minutes, breaking it up until browned.
Stir in 1.32 lb (600 g) passata, 2¾ tsp (2 g) dried oregano, ½ tsp (3 g) salt and ½ tsp (1 g) black pepper and a splash of water; simmer over low heat for 25 minutes, until the beef reaches 160 °F (71 °C).
Meanwhile, cook 12.7 oz (360 g) spaghetti in a pot of boiling water over medium heat for 10 minutes, or as directed on the package; drain.
Toss the drained spaghetti with the sauce and serve.
